In this thesis, a search of supersymmetric stable stau predicted by gauge-mediated supersymmetric breaking models is presented. Within these models the stau interacts with the detector as an energetic muon. Using the 2011 data collected by the ATLAS detector with 3 fb-1 integrated luminosity, a search for stable , coming from neutralino decay is performed by reconstructing the invariant mass of lepton- and not by its speed.
