An Introduction to Critical Ethical Issues Surrounding Big Data in Order That Students Will Develop a Workable Understanding of Current Ethical Issues and Policy-Related Concepts in Data Science, Including Protection of Privacy and Data, Algorithmic Behavior, Discrimination and Manipulation, Copyrights, Censorship, Etc.
1. the Student Will Gain Understanding of Legal and Ethical Issues as It Applies to the Use and Interpretation of Data in the Data Science Domain.
2. the Student Will Analyze the Data Scientist Responsibility and the Public Responsibility of the Regulator Within the Area of Big Data.
