Course Focuses on Strong Interaction Effects and on Advanced Theoretical Techniques Used in the Study of Quantum Solid State Systems. Topics: Path Integral Techniques. Quantum Magnetism. the Renormalization Group. Quantum Critical Points. Gross-Pitaevskii Equation, Super Fluidity, Luttinger Liquids. Fractional Quantum Hall Effect. at the End of the Course, the Student Will Be Able:
1. to Critically Read Updated Literature.
2. to Use the Standard Tool Box of Many-Body Systems.
