The Aim of the Course Is to Discuss Mechanisms of Extra- and Intracellular Parasitism at Both, Physiological and Molecular Level (Plasmodium, Trypanosoma, Leishmania, Entamoeba and Others). the Following Topics Will Be Discussed: Host-Parasite Relations, Mechanisms of Parasites' Adaptation to Shifts Between Insects and Men, Mechanisms of Protection Against the Hosts' Immune System, Structure and Function of Virulent Genes, Signal Transfer Between Parasite and Host and Their Role in Parasite Differentiation.
