2. coherent quantum control of chemical processes using ultrashort laser pulses.
3. termodynamics of surfaces and boundary layers. chemical and physical
absorption' catalysis, surface science investigations.
4. quantum dynamics and kinetics of processes between a molecule and its thermal
environment.
