The Graduate School Departments: Registration and Admission The office handles registration of applicants to Master's, Doctoral and non-degree advanced studies. Contact: Ms. Yael Cohen, yaelc@dp.technion.ac.il, Tel. 04- 8292739 International Students Advisers The international student advisers offer general counseling and registration assistance to foreign applicants, international students, new immigrants and temporary residents studying at the Technion Graduate School. This includes visa extension, registration to summer Ulpan (intensive course in Hebrew) etc. Contact: Ms. Gabriela Laufmann, IntGrad@technion.ac.il; Tel. 04-8292693 Academic Records and Progress Reports The office is in charge of processing information concerning course of studies, registration, grades and academic status. It also handles the following: application for leave of absence, interruption or termination of studies, exemption from courses, update of personal details, extension of duration of studies, approval of research topics, transfer to direct Ph.D. programs etc. Contact: Ms. Edna Kozer, ednak@dp.technion.ac.il, Tel. 04-8292574, 04- 8292737 Scholarships, Loans and Dormitories The office handles scholarships for Graduate School students. Applications are submitted through the academic units, along with the required recommendations of the Faculties' Graduate Studies Committees. The office also handles applications for student dormitories and loans.
