is a new way to initiate energetic materials.
Photo initiation approach has many advantages, such as: Remote control initiation, accurate initiation timing and simple safe mechanisms. In addition, primary explosives-free initiation systems possess potentially longer shelf life.
In our research we have studied and developed the requirements for photo energetic systems via direct and indirect photo-thermal and photo-chemical initiations. We had also prepared new photo energetic materials and had investigated the photo initiation mechanism.
