Scholarships from external sources

In the framework of the Graduate School, special prizes and grants are awarded each year to students studying towards a master’s degree and PhD in the school, in addition to the ordinary scholarships.

These prizes and scholarships are provided by the Ministry of Science, external foundations and donors in Israel and abroad who recognize the significance of promoting excellent students at the School.

The School has a Prize Committee that reviews and decides who will be awarded these prizes. The information is available with the graduate studies secretaries in the academic departments on an ongoing basis.

The duration of the entitlement to external scholarships is, at most, about the duration of eligibility for Technion scholarships, meaning, when the quote of Technion scholarships to which the scholarship recipient is entitled ends, or when the Technion scholarship is ceased for any reason, his entitlement to the external scholarship also ends, even if the duration of the external scholarship is longer.
