Language of Studies at Technion

Currently, most classes are conducted in Hebrew, therefore basic knowledge of Hebrew is recommended, However, some classes may be offered in English per an advance request by an international student, if the teacher agrees to it.

The following departments are committed to conduct classes in English:

Biology
Chemistry
Chemical Engineering
Physics
Materials Science and Engineering
Education in Science and Technology
Aerospace Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Medical Sciences
Biomedical Engineering
Mathematics
Computer Science

In all other departments:
Reading materials, for most classes, is available in English. Assignments and tests may be submitted in English, with an advanced coordination with the teachers.

All professors as well as most teaching assts. are fluent in English and therefore can offer assistance when necessary.

Some of the pre-requisite courses are offered in English at the "Technion International Center". Please check with the Graduate Studies secretary in your department.
